Please note that only Full Administrator role group can have guaranteed access to the Monitis Addon. Other role groups’ access level to Monitis Addon and possible actions that can be performed with it will depend on the permissions assigned by WHMCS admin to these groups.
Monitis Addon Configuration
As soon as you finish the setup steps, Monitis addon will become visible under the Addons menu.
Click on it to open.
When entering Monitis Addon for the first time you will be taken to the Settings tab where under Monitis Account Credentials you have to enter the Monitis API key and Secret key to link your Monitis account with WHMCS.
You can change at any time the provided Monitis API Key and Secret Key. Monitoring services created with the former API key will keep functioning and all data will be preserved, but you must take into account that all the actions that you take in Monitis Addon from there on will be linked to the Monitis account associated with the new API key.
The account that you provide the API keys of will be the Monitis account that will be used with Monitis Reseller role in your WHMCS transactions.
Mapping WHMCS Actions to Monitis API
As WHMCS admin, when you perform an action on the below items, Monitis will need to know how to handle these actions with Monitis Reseller API to reflect the change in your Monitis account.
To map WHMCS action with Monitis API, specify the Monitis API actions by selecting them from the combo boxes. The boxes already contain default selections, which you can change if you deem it necessary for your WHMCS transactions.
Setting Grace Period for Suspended Monitis Orders
Here under settings you can also set a grace period for monitors in suspended orders.
When a Monitis order is suspended Monitis will suspend the clients’ monitors for the mentioned grace period. After the grace period the order’s status changes to “Deleted” and the client’s monitors are deleted.
See Grace Period under Monitis Reseller guide).
Deleting Cached Requests to Monitis API
For faster performance, Monitis caches some of the API requests in our WHMCS addon.
If at some point you do not want Monitis to use cached requests, you can empty the cache by pressing the Empty Cache button.
Login to Reseller
You can use the Login to Reseller link to login to your Monitis Reseller account.
If you are currently logged in to your Monitis account, you will be taken directly to the Reseller management view.
Otherwise you will be taken to the Monitis login page, and you can login there using your account credentials.
